About the Artist
Chitranjan Swain hails from Raghurajpur, a heritage artisans' village in Puri district, Odisha, India. His family (parents, brother, uncle, & cousins), just like most families in Raghurajpur, have been creating beautiful Pattachitra paintings for years, having inherited this unique art form from their forefathers.
By purchasing one of his creations, you not only take home a piece of Indian history but also enable Chitranjan and his family to carry on the exquisite art of Pattachitra for many more years to come.
